Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and resourceful SDET to join our team. You will design and develop test automation to ensure product quality and enhance user experience. The role is ideally hybrid from our Mexico City office, but remote work is possible. Salary is role, level, and location-dependent.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and cases for mobile applications on frontend (web & mobile), backend, APIs, and databases.
• Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure quality of mobile and web applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and areas for improvement using a data-driven approach.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand requirements and provide feedback on design, functionality, and usability.
• Perform regression testing to ensure new features do not affect existing functionalities.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Espresso, UIAutomation, and Playwright.
• Monitor application performance and suggest improvements.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing to team efficiency and delivery cadence.
• Enhance testing processes, techniques, and technologies to improve coverage and efficiency.

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of experience in mobile testing.
• Ability to define, design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks.
• Experience with industry-standard mobile testing tools such as UI Automation for iOS, Espresso for Android, and Playwright for Web.
• Ability to author manual test cases based on product specifications and automate them as part of a delivery team.
• Support weekly release regression testing through automation and manual testing, providing sign-offs.
• Ability to formulate test strategies, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience working with teams across different time zones.
• Knowledge of product lifecycle, release metrics, and goals.
• BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
