Overview
We are seeking a Jr. Mechanical Structures Designer to join our dynamic team.
Our Structural Designers will be responsible for creating conceptual designs, conducting structural analysis, and producing detailed construction drawings for state-of-the-art industrial and high-tech manufacturing facilities for the world’s leading high-tech companies. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software is essential for developing accurate and comprehensive structural drawings.
Principal Tasks and Responsibilities
The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing:
- Develop detailed structural designs and layouts for high-tech and industrial facilities, including creating conceptual designs, performing structural analysis, and producing detailed construction drawings, while adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Generate detailed construction drawings that include precise dimensions, materials, and specifications, adhering to company/project standards and local building codes.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate structural components efficiently into overall facility design.
- Design and model using AutoCAD and Revit for 2D and 3D modeling to create accurate and detailed structural drawings of new structures and retrofitting of existing structures. Ensure that all design elements are accurately represented.
- Perform analysis and calculations to ensure the structural integrity and safety of designs, considering various load conditions and requirements under the supervision of a Sr. Engineer or Project Manager.
- Create comprehensive construction packages including specifications, bill of materials, and technical documentation for fabrication and construction teams.
- Able to select from client details standard installation details (SIDS) and know which SIDS need to be included in the package.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering as Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Designer, Industrial Designer, Structural Engineer or related.
- One to two (1-2) years of related practical experience with former employers.
- Advanced English level
- Graduated from University between 2023 to 2025 (This is a Junior position)
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Experience with Industrial Projects
Desirable Knowledge / Experience
- Other desirable related experience such as designing racks, steel supports, plugins to manufacturing machines, conveyor lines, steel structures, etc.
- REVIT (Structures design) Knowledge
- Experience related to semiconductors Industry (Structural design).
