Amazon Marketplace is seeking a dynamic and motivated executive to acquire and manage key accounts. The Account Executive will develop a sales pipeline comprising high-value and transactional accounts, recruit and launch businesses to sell their products on www.amazon.com.mx, and manage the portfolio to grow their sales.

Specifically, this individual will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within prospective accounts' executive teams, as well as internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams. You will also work with merchants as an account manager (50% of the time), helping them to launch and grow on Amazon by ensuring they understand Amazon’s products, services, systems, and tools.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Manage numerous opportunities concurrently and strategically.
  2. Analyze customer data and make recommendations to maximize the potential of the assigned territory. Execute successfully on the recommended plan.
  3. Work closely with new merchants, educating them about Amazon’s high standards of delivery and customer experience.
  4. Enable merchants to learn and master Amazon's tools and systems to manage their catalog, inventory, and performance efficiently and to the required standards.
  5. Prepare and deliver business reviews regarding progress and health of the respective territory.
  6. Implement and track metrics to record the success and quality of sellers in your territory. Use these metrics to guide your work and uncover opportunities.
  7. Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets and operational metrics.

Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience prospecting, qualifying, and cold-calling companies
  • Fluent in English (speaking, writing, reading)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Over 2 years of experience in commercial roles
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with pipeline management using Salesforce or other CRM tools
  • Track record of exceeding sales goals
