Position Overview

Manage the overall logistics operational business demand for the US and Canada. This includes a focus on import/export, domestic distribution, reporting requirements, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. The role involves interaction with stakeholders at various levels and cross-functional alignment with internal teams such as Finance, Commercial, Project Management, Product Line Management, and Order Fulfillment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate logistics suppliers for efficient inbound and outbound operations.
  2. Collaborate with customs brokers to optimize import/export processes and ensure trade compliance.
  3. Ensure shipments comply with international regulations.
  4. Provide logistics solutions to internal and external customers.
  5. Communicate effectively with the US Distribution Center (DOF) and Last Mile Agent (LMA).
  6. Support supply chain efficiency and cost reduction initiatives.
  7. Assist finance team with cash flow management related to duties and taxes.
  8. Develop and monitor supplier KPIs.
  9. Maintain accurate shipment records for visibility.
  10. Ensure on-time deliveries with proper documentation and damage prevention.
  11. Update shipment status regularly to relevant teams.
  12. Implement and support supply chain initiatives aligned with business goals.
  13. Oversee customs clearance and last-mile delivery for non-revenue shipments (e.g., repairs, returns).
  14. Address overages and shortages issues promptly.
  15. Manage claims for damaged or lost shipments.
  16. Coordinate the flow of goods into the US and Canada.
  17. Manage logistics for complex projects crossing borders.
  18. Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  19. Review and approve carrier billing statements.
  20. Maintain trip closures and related data in internal systems.
  21. Support regulatory and trade compliance initiatives.
  22. Participate in meetings to align logistics strategies.
Skills and Experience:
  1. Extensive international logistics experience, particularly in dynamic environments.
  2. Results-driven with proactive, action-oriented approach and strong project management skills.
  3. Practical knowledge of US and Canada markets, preferably in telecommunications or high-tech industries.
  4. Knowledge of import/export regulations.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle.
  6. Excellent English communication skills.
  7. Customer-focused, adaptable to high-demand periods.
Qualifications:
  1. 10+ years in supply chain and logistics roles.
  2. At least 3 years in supervisory positions.
  3. Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
