Descripción del empleo

The Regional Sales Manager will ensure that the company's goals are met across all its regions: CDMX, State of Mexico, Guadalajara, Léon, and Morelia.

Our candidate will be responsible for managing and achieving revenue targets within the assigned region, developing a sales team to improve performance and drive business development.

They will ensure team performance aligns with company goals to maintain healthy profits. The position requires close collaboration with all teams to ensure actions comply with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implement effective sales strategies to promote growth within the region, distribution channels, and customers, while identifying new business opportunities and developing 12-18 month sales plans. Monitor and analyze regional sales to meet objectives and adjust strategies as needed.
  2. Supervise and validate the work plans of Sales Executives to maximize regional performance through POS execution, support negotiations, and track KPIs.
  3. Identify trends, opportunities, threats, and conduct competitor analysis to set challenging SOM objectives for regional leadership, proposing or executing corrective actions to improve performance.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, local distributors, retailers, third parties, and key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution.
  5. Collaborate with Key Accounts and departments such as Marketing, Logistics, and Finance to share insights and improve customer service, communication, and shopper engagement.
  6. Monitor team performance against KPIs and sales targets.
  7. Prepare reports and projections on regional performance, create scorecards, and generate ad-hoc reports for insights and KPI tracking to present to stakeholders and executives, highlighting market insights, competitor analysis, results, learnings, support needs, and next steps.

Qualifications:

  • 4 to 7 years of experience in sales to wholesalers and distributors at a regional level, managing a team of 3 to 5 people.
  • Experience in generating and maintaining relationships with sales leads.
  • Conversational English skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Work Schedule:

  • Remote work with periodic visits to clients and corporate offices for negotiations and presentations.
