Wabtec Corporation is seeking a NPI Sourcing Specialist Intern.

Role Summary: This role gives support to NPI Buyers through executing the Request for Quote (RFQ) Process in a timely manner, initiating and expediting the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and assisting buyers in achieving key NPI fulfillment metrics.

Responsibilities:

1. Execute Request for Quote (RFQ) Process with suppliers and follow up to ensure timely return of quotes.
2. Initiate PPAP requests, participate in PPAP review boards to ensure timely launch of supplier PPAPs, and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely part qualification.
3. Communicate with suppliers to receive component promise dates, and expedite material as necessary to ensure timely delivery to the production shop floor.
4. Contribute to projects as a team member within the NPI Fulfillment organization and support buyers in other tasks as necessary to ensure NPI Fulfillment team success.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s in International Business Relations, Administration, Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management from 7th semester; with at least 1 year until graduation.
2. English professional proficiency.
3. Availability from Monday to Friday (7AM – 4PM).

Desired Characteristics:

1. Demonstrated interest in Supply Chain Management in a Manufacturing environment.
2. Strong oral and written communication skills.
3. Ability to coordinate several tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.

Where we are and What we Offer:

1. Contract duration: 6 months but might be renewed for another 6 months (1 year, max 18 months in total).
2. Salary: $10,000 per month + food allowance.
