Group Summary

The Mechatronics, Mirrors, and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are shaping the future of mobility. Combining deep systems knowledge, we develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent vision systems, and advanced automotive lighting technologies. MML's expertise drives innovation, safety, and styling.

Job Responsibilities

1. Investigate and solve problems within your area of responsibility, including actively responding to customer complaints and proposing permanent corrective actions.
2. Participate actively in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and follow-up on deadlines related to Fast Response processes, audits, customer visits, EPC findings, warranty failures, and process deviations.
3. Attend to, define, and monitor action plans related to quality performance indicators of the line or product.
4. Install machinery.
5. Engage with suppliers related to new programs.
6. Participate in the APQP phase - Manufacturing.
7. Define systems and formats for failure identification and rejection data collection (FTQ) to enable effective trend analysis and action plan formulation.
8. Implement controls for continuous risk reduction and be responsible for updating and maintaining the lines' FMEAs.
9. Ensure PPAP documentation and line processes contain necessary process controls and reflect accurate information to guarantee a reliable and stable process.
10. Comply with safety, health, and ergonomics standards for your equipment.
11. Conceptualize, define, specify, document modifications, engineering changes, and process improvements; lead RFQ processes for machinery and equipment, and closely monitor the request, execution, and budget processes for CapEx and tooling.
12. Estimate costs for budgets related to machinery, tooling, or device upgrades or construction.
13. Manage and monitor suppliers for automation, machining, manufacturing, and spare parts, including delivery deadlines, payment terms, invoicing, and approval based on successful deliverables.
14. Qualifications include Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, advanced English, and 3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
