Manufacturing Test Engineer – 12-month contract position
Description:

The Coca-Cola Freestyle Innovation Center (FIC) is looking for a Manufacturing Test Engineer to join our team. This role will report to the Director of Manufacturing, working with dispensing equipment production and after sales services at our contract manufacturers in Guadalajara, MX.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop testing procedures for manufacturing processes to ensure product and process quality.
Analyze test results and make recommendations for improvement.
Assist in troubleshooting production issues and implement solutions.
Monitor defect rates and work on strategies to reduce and eliminate defects.
Review current manufacturing processes and propose efficiency improvements.
Participate in design reviews and support new product launches.
Provide DFx feedbacks to NPI manager and escalate as necessary.
Work closely with key suppliers for subassemblies to identify and develop fixtures / jigs to simplify assembly processes and to ensure quality control.
Address quality issues back to suppliers and set / review production yields, and other KPIs.
Evaluate supplier quality control processes and make recommendations for improvements in quality control.
Ability to travel internationally 25% of the time.
Education / Qualification:
Bachelor of Industrial Engineering or related field
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification (optional)
Advanced English communication and writing

5+ years relevant work experience
Resume must be in English
Experience with the following
CAD or CAM software
APQP, PPAP and manufacturing operations
System integration with electromechanical systems
Kaizen events, Lean Manufacturing, and Line balancing
Basic knowledge of HTML, Javascript, Typescript, JSON
Test development and test results analysis.
