Job Purpose

Manage supply chain project(s) of varying complexity and size in assigned teams. Partner with other teams to improve end-to-end product delivery processes at required quality standards and production costs.

Main Responsibilities:

Strategy design and execution

  • Contribute to the design of the Supply Chain strategy by advising the Supply Chain management on project feasibility.
  • Prepare business cases, project plans, and coordinate their execution upon approval by sponsors and steering committees.
  • Report to the Managers.

Project management

  • Apply project management practices following Givaudan's adopted Six Sigma methodology (DMAIC). Ensure use of PPM tool for project definition and follow-up.
  • Engage directly with customers (internal and external) to understand broad supply chain requirements, develop solutions, and demonstrate value.
  • Create cohesive project programs and plans with critical paths, task dependencies, milestones, and manage them within scope, budget, time, and quality parameters.
  • Apply technical knowledge and management experience to resolve complex problems; design and implement solutions.
  • Track deadlines, costs, and resources to mitigate risks.
  • Build relationships regarding project status, requirements, and benefits.
  • Develop the project plan within the approved budget.

People management

  • Provide work direction to the project team.
  • Contribute to HR processes by providing feedback on team members’ performance.
  • Work with line managers and HR Business Partners to develop project management capabilities within the Supply Chain & Planning function.
  • Promote development of talents within and outside the function.

Academic Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations Management, or related discipline.
  • Project Management Certification.

Professional Experience

  • 4 to 7 years in supply chain, with exposure to process redesign and systems implementation projects.
  • Up to 2 years in people management.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (TPM, KPI, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) and tools.
  • Partner management and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of EHS rules and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of financial concepts and tools (OPEX, CAPEX, SAP).
  • English and Spanish: advanced level.
