Formación

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Apply expertise in Data Science, Statistics, Math, Actuary, or related fields involving statistical analysis.
  2. Possess 3+ years of experience in market research or relevant fields.
  3. Have a solid understanding of the FMCG industry and retail market impacts on clients’ businesses.
  4. Demonstrate knowledge of consumer behaviors and receipt collection methodologies.
  5. Manage Data Science initiatives for specific markets/industries, including new and existing products and services.
  6. Serve as a Data Science business partner to leadership across commercial, product, and technology teams to meet country-specific goals.
  7. Engage directly with clients to understand strategic needs, develop analytical strategies, and propose innovative, methodology-driven solutions.
  8. Support client and commercial teams with data science design and methodological queries.
  9. Lead the application of data and analytics strategies to support client business needs.
  10. Innovate by leveraging large, diverse datasets and advanced technologies to create out-of-the-box solutions.
  11. Collaborate with other Data Science teams to deliver and prioritize objectives.
  12. Implement data science solutions on the ground, ensuring they meet client needs.
  13. Work with product and technology teams to bring new services and solutions to market.
  14. Design and conduct studies, tests, and use advanced analytics to build prototypes and proof of concept.
  15. Encourage team innovation and contribute to company objectives.
  16. Coach and mentor junior data scientists.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and writing skills; strong analytical and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to explain complex methodologies simply and effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and resilience in crisis or difficult interactions.
  • Proactive stakeholder engagement and client relationship management skills.
  • Curiosity and persistence in problem-solving.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, with excellent presentation skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new methodologies, technologies, and tools.
  • Strong decision-making, multitasking, and time management skills under pressure.
  • Critical and logical thinking skills.
  • Solid understanding of statistics and data analysis, with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and familiarity with Python and/or R.
  • Knowledge of project management principles.
