An established industry player is seeking a quality assurance specialist to maintain supplier regulations and enhance product quality. In this role, you will develop quality control guidelines, conduct audits, and collaborate with vendors to reduce defect rates. Your expertise in statistical analysis and quality assurance will be crucial in ensuring compliance with standards like ISO 9001 and AS9100. Maintain all regulations and requirements by creating and updating a supplier database with current performance records. Develop quality control guidelines and protocols, provide advice to vendors on reducing defect rates, and assess products and supplies to ensure quality. Create and promote strategies to enhance the quality and efficiency of systems and products. Act as a liaison between vendors and company leaders, and determine solutions to challenges related to quality standards. Possess excellent statistical analysis and quality assurance skills, and conduct supplier validation audits, including supplier support and advanced product quality planning (APQP).
Required verifiable experience of 2 to 3 years in ensuring suppliers maintain all regulations and requirements. Proven ability to create and update supplier databases, develop quality control protocols, and advise vendors on defect reduction. Experience in assessing product quality, developing improvement strategies, and acting as a liaison is essential. Strong statistical analysis and quality assurance skills are necessary, along with the ability to conduct supplier validation audits and support APQP processes.
Proficiency in English is required.
Must have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work well in a team environment, and a solid knowledge of advanced product quality planning (APQP) and the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100 standards, metrology, inspection methods, and equipment is required.
Preferred certifications include IPC-A-610 and ESD Control.
