A leading company in the technology sector is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage payroll processes and ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong payroll and tax calculation experience, along with excellent communication skills. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for processing payroll, ensuring compliance with regulations, and reconciling taxes and benefits.
What you will be doing:
Manage the payroll process, including processing payroll, verifying payroll data, and ensuring accurate and timely payment of employees.
Prepare accounting journal entries for payroll
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to payroll, including tax withholding, benits, and payroll deductions.
Perform tax and benefit reconciliations and reporting
Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee data and maintain employee payroll records
Communicate with employees regarding payroll-related inquiries and issues
Provide support for audits related to payroll and benefits
Assist with other accounting and finance functions as needed
Perform month-end close activities for Payroll
What you will bring:
Good English written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in MS Office and computer systems
Strong payroll and tax calculation experience
3+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
Experience with IDSE and NomiPAQ.
