Join a leading company in Monterrey as a Quality Control Engineer. You will assist in designing quality control processes, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure quality standards are met. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and a B.S. degree in engineering.

Formación

  • Preferably 3 years of previous quality control engineering experience.

Job Summary

Assists in the design and installation of quality control process sampling systems, procedures, and statistical techniques.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Serve as the front-line liaison to production supervisors and staff, troubleshooting, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions affecting production.
  2. Maintain the manufacturing quality system for the specific product group.
  3. Participate in design reviews and identify significant and critical feature characteristics on blueprints.
  4. Coordinate quality aspects for new product development, including on-site start-ups and vendor certifications.
  5. Ensure quality standards are met by all outside vendors.
  6. Design or specify inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment.
  7. Assist in specifying inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment.
  8. Establish and document critical assembly component criteria and supporting process control information.
  9. Develop and maintain in-line inspection criteria for critical assembly attributes and feedback systems from testing stations.
  10. Analyze production limitations and standards, recommending revisions when necessary.
  11. Assist in formulating quality control policies and procedures.
  12. Plan quality control engineering assignments, coordinate workflows, and supervise lower-level engineers and technicians as needed.
  13. Schedule work to meet deadlines and technical specifications.
  14. Evaluate progress and results, recommending procedural or objective changes.
  15. Develop and implement quality control training programs with Human Resources.
  16. Operate within the approved budget.
  17. Follow all safety rules and regulations, maintaining a safe, neat, and orderly work environment.
  18. Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Knowledge
  • B.S. Degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • Preferably 3 years of previous quality control engineering experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Working Conditions
  • Intense production line environment.
  • Typical manufacturing and office conditions.
