Primary Purpose of the Position

Drives operational excellence through data-based analysis and designed experimentation. Promotes process consistency via appropriate control systems. Fosters a culture of continuous improvement through data analysis, decision-making, team collaboration, empowerment, and systems thinking.

Essential Responsible Areas:
  1. Leads and advises plant leadership on line throughput, balance, and process improvements through data analysis, visualization, and requirements gathering.
  2. Supports process adherence to MCO procedures.
  3. Maintains document control systems for all controlled documents, including notifications, tracking, and updates via portals like SharePoint.
  4. Collaborates with departments to develop performance metrics, identify gaps, and implement improvements.
  5. Uses Lean, Six Sigma, and data analysis tools to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  6. Champions the use of BPLM, Infinity, CTT, and related systems, ensuring data accuracy and validation.
  7. Supports food safety and plant maintenance systems as directed by respective departments.
  8. Participates in audits and trials, analyzing data, documenting findings, and preparing reports.
  9. Provides training on engineering concepts and tools, including process control, root cause analysis, and quality tools.
  10. Establishes effective communication channels across departments and shifts.
  11. Assists in mapping and documenting business processes for improvement initiatives.
  12. Supports deployment of best practices and reports on their impacts.
Position Requirements & Competencies:
  • Relevant college or work experience in math, science, engineering, or information management.
  • Minimum 4 years of job-related experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, perform complex tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Skills in team building, leadership, coaching, and influencing without formal authority.
  • Experience in change management, willing to challenge norms and work under ambiguity.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MINITAB, or similar statistical tools.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and proprietary information confidentially.
  • Maintains professional competence, ethical standards, and skills.
  • Knowledge of statistical process control, analysis, and designed experiments.
  • Understanding of business principles, legal practices, customer expectations, and quality assurance.
