The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Maquiladora manufacturing and be fluent in English and Spanish. Frequent travel across the U.S./Mexico border is required.

EOS is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Manufacturing Manager to provide strategic leadership and oversight to our La Mesa production facility in Tijuana, Mexico. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring optimal performance in terms of cost, schedule, safety, and quality. This key leadership role will require collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet manufacturing expectations, as well as presenting program and team status to internal and external customers.

The Work

·Provide strategic leadership and oversight to production operations, ensuring alignment organizational goals and objectives

·Supervise and manage a team of approximately 11 Supervisors and 400 indirect employees at the La Mesa Production Facility

·Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs

·Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and supply chain, to meet manufacturing expectations and drive continuous improvement.

Oversee production areas, including

·Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Plated-Through-Hole (PTH) Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA’s)

·Large molded cables

·Medium and large harnesses

·Electronic assemblies and electronic boards

·Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, including EOS policies and procedures

·Lead discussions and present program and teams status to internal and external customers, including stakeholders and senior leadership

·Frequent travel (4-5 days/week) across the U.S./Mexico border to support business operations and customer relationships

Desired Skills

·Knowledge of Import/Export, Labor and Environmental Laws

·Black Belt in Lean Manufacturing

·Basic knowledge of Mexican accounting and financial principles

·Demonstrated ability to apply 6S lean practices in everyday work environment

Other Important Information

This position is onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a the designated La Mesa facility

Basic Qualifications

·Minimum of 10 years of related professional experience in Maquiladora manufacturing environment

·Prior personnel and supervisory experience

·Fluent in both English and Spanish

·Ability to work and travel within the U.S. and Mexico

·Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate statuses and priorities through various formats (i.e. verbal, written, Microsoft platforms, etc.) and to multiple layers of personnel (i.e. floor operators up to Program Management Office)

·Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships

Position requires proficiency in the following areas:
