The Role

The Commercial Analyst role is within the Commercial team at WiseEnergy. It focuses on regulatory and contractual aspects, ideally suited for candidates with backgrounds in renewables, legal, or commercial sectors. The role manages assets primarily in Chile and supports assets in Portugal, Spain, and the US.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain solar plant compliance with contractual requirements, including drafting notices and investigating non-compliance.
• Manage property agreements and landowner relationships.
• Oversee project company contract renewals and tenders.
• Handle regulatory interfaces and ensure compliance with advisors.
• Manage insurance renewals and claims.
• Oversee monthly revenue accruals and investigate discrepancies.
• Support ESG compliance and delivery.
• Assist in onboarding new sites, understanding contracts, and coordinating with finance and technical teams.
• Update and develop the Asset Management Platform software.
• Support annual Asset Operating Plans with contract information.
• Report to clients and internal teams as required.
• Participate in ad hoc commercial projects.
• Demonstrate effective time management and prioritization skills.
• Show flexibility and teamwork orientation.
• Maintain a proactive delivery focus with quality outputs.
• Possess IT literacy, especially intermediate Excel skills.
• Have a passion for sustainability and the clean energy mission.

Experience & Qualifications

• 2-3 years in a similar role.
• Knowledge of regulatory, property, and contract management.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; Portuguese is advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
• Strong organizational and change management skills.
