Position Summary:

Strategic procurement professional supporting a temporary aerospace project, focused on sourcing raw materials and standard parts in compliance with industry regulations and quality standards. Responsible for executing global sourcing strategies, ensuring continuity of supply, and supporting program requirements in collaboration with global and regional procurement teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Raw Materials (RM) and Standard Parts (ST) aligned with aerospace program needs and global commodity plans.
  • Work closely with Global Commodity Managers (GCM) and cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, supply chain) to support procurement initiatives.
  • Lead implementation of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) to streamline supply flows and reduce lead times.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards (e.g., AS9100, NADCAP) and customer-specific requirements.
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities and manage RFQ processes to secure competitive, compliant, and reliable sources.
  • Monitor supplier performance with focus on delivery, quality, and cost; address supply issues proactively.

Required Profile:

  • Experience in aerospace procurement or manufacturing, preferably with raw materials (e.g., aluminum, titanium, composites) and standard hardware (e.g., fasteners, seals, connectors).
  • Strong understanding of aerospace compliance standards and documentation.
  • Familiarity with VMI systems and supplier-managed logistics models.
  • Technical background (Engineering or related field preferred).
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and procurement platforms.
  • Advanced English for communication with global teams and suppliers.
Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Postgraduate studies or certifications in Procurement, Logistics, or Aerospace Supply Chain (preferred).
