Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Service Manager to lead our back-office financial reporting service. This role involves managing a geographically dispersed team of Reporting Analysts in Spain and India, responsible for gathering financial data, creating reports, and disseminating them to clients. The Service Manager will ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial reports, anticipate potential risks, mitigate issues, and perform well under pressure. The project is with a leading global asset management company.

Requirements

• High proficiency in English (C1 level or above, both written and spoken).
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Knowledge of financial services or back-office operations.
• Experience in managing teams and working under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and senior management.
• Experience with Power BI, automation platforms, and advanced Excel skills (macros, dynamic tables).

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee the creation of financial reports from data collection to final dissemination, ensuring compliance with client specifications, regulatory standards, and internal quality controls.
2. Anticipate and resolve challenges and potential risks during the reporting process, escalating issues to senior management when necessary.
3. Deliver high-quality reports consistently and maintain exceptional service levels.
4. Monitor and report on team performance against KPIs.
