As a Temporary Credit & Collections Coordinator in Kellanova, you will take ownership of credit management and collections strategy across our Pacific and Caricam regions, ensuring optimized cash flow and strong risk control. Based in Querétaro, México, you’ll work across finance, commercial, and regional teams to drive performance, manage a team, and maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholders.

This role offers the opportunity to lead in a fast-paced environment, contributing to financial discipline and operational leadership across LATAM.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

  • Drive Credit & Collections Excellence – Lead the end-to-end credit and collections process for Pacific and Caricam regions, ensuring monthly and quarterly targets are consistently achieved.
  • Manage and Develop Talent – Provide leadership to a team of collectors, ensuring performance, engagement, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Partner with Key Stakeholders – Engage directly with Sales Managers, Commercial Finance, and Regional Finance Directors to assess credit risk, manage escalations, and influence strategic decisions.
  • Deliver Financial Visibility and Controls – Prepare monthly and quarterly reports, support SOX testing and audits, and conduct bad debt and credit line analysis with a high level of detail.
  • Support Budgeting and Compliance Activities – Lead construction and monitoring of credit and collection budgets, and ensure alignment with LATAM regional policies and ERP systems .

We’re Looking for Someone With

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in credit & collections management, preferably within the LATAM region.
  • Proven leadership and people management experience; ability to guide and coach a small team effectively.
  • Experience with ERP tools (preferably SAP), and knowledge of customer portals, CFDI, and modern/traditional trade account structures.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to interact with high-level internal partners under pressure and with influence.
  • Availability to travel up to 30% annually, with flexibility for increased frequency when needed.
