As a Sales Director you will develop the sales strategy and coordinate the activities of the sales team to achieve growth in sales.

You'll report to the México Commercial Head, and will be based in México City; working four days onsite and one from home a week.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Define the short, middle and long-term sales strategy of the business.
  • Coordinate the sales team with full account and business management to protect and grow assets of designated accounts in the country, segment or category.
  • Support KAMS in the design and implementation of ADPs.
  • Ensure delivery of unique Account Development Plans (ADPs) across customer segments
  • Manage and support the team members with all pricing negotiations and activities within the sub region.
  • Develop partnerships with key accounts, including relationships with senior management.
  • Drive sales growth and monitor market performance following Indicators for the sub-region. Take corrective actions to ensure sales and profitability goals are achieved.
  • Initiate, manage and supervise key projects with FC&A, Marketing and Business Units
  • Manage the talent pipeline with local HR support, defining an annual program that stablishes trainings needs, career development and performance opportunities; as well as being involved in retentions, recruitment processes and development of Key talents.
  • Be part of México Leadership Board, lead together with the team to design, align, and execute México Business Plan and Commercial Strategy.

Requirements:

  • University degree in related field – Business / Marketing / Foods
  • Between 8 to 10 years successful experience in sales roles
  • Experience with food /flavour landscape
  • Develop markets expertise
  • Knowledge of key account/segment/country/category, management - including market, general business climate, competitive landscape, financial potentials is critical.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective customer relationships with senior customer decision makers and influencers.
  • Work and perform in a matrix organization.
  • Demonstrated capacity to build, manage and lead, a high performance sales teams
