Retail Marketing Coordinator - The Orchard

The Orchard has an immediate opening for a Mexico City basedMarketing and Retail Coordinator. The position will act as a relationship facilitator and as the main support for all Marketing related matters, from gathering and organizing info in order to keeping pitches up to date, to reporting and post release analysis and monitoring. The ideal candidate is a process oriented, analytical and organized person, with an eye for details and must have passion not only for music alone, but for the music industry as a whole.

What you'll do
  • Support day-to-day Retail operations, from filling out all related forms and documents, to generate creative solutions for our clients following the established Orchard process.
  • Work as a link between Relationship Managers and the Retail Team to accompany The Orchard’s distributed artists and labels to organize and prioritize releases, and long lead plans and work with other internal departments as necessary.
  • Support on monitoring daily and weekly charts across various platforms, and reporting via Looker and other internal tools.
  • Helping with the Local Certification Processes, from calculating streams and certification units to coordinate the manufacturing and delivery of certification plaques.
  • Keeping priority releases and their performance results up to date; searching weekly placements and DSP support and analyzing the potential opportunities to maximize performance, visibility and public presence of our releases.
  • Helping coordinate internal pitch meetings and listening sessions with Relationship Managers during the established Retail Office Hours (twice a week).
Who you are
  • Marketing Professional with Excellent knowledge of the digital space including DSPs and Music Discovery Apps, analytics, and social media, with an ability and willing to learn and to adapt in a constantly changing landscape.
  • Highly advanced organizational skills, team worker, enterprising, autonomous, analytical, results-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tight deadlines.
  • High Tolerance to frustration and managing expectations, with a problem solving approach and a service attitude for the greater good of the artists.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English, with the ability to speak effectively across all levels of business, both internally and externally.
  • Music passionate, connoisseur and lover, with deep knowledge of the Spanish music scene, with a willingness to attend industry events and shows.
  • Highly Creative, open minded and willing to think and propose ideas out of the box.
