Senior Account Manager - EMEA and Emerging Markets

Remote - Anywhere in Europe

A day in the Life :

  • Seek new clients and new business opportunities with existing clients for clinical supply chain services including drug packaging, distribution, and comparator sourcing.
  • Lead client expectations by involving colleagues from Client Services, Subject Matter Experts, and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) Members to build an integrated relationship.
  • Document activity and report progress regularly using CRM systems. Review performance against plan with Line Manager and recommend strategies if shortfalls exist.
  • Own the process of bringing new business, including leadership at bid defense meetings, quote discussions, and contracts management. Responsible for meeting new business targets.
  • Gain knowledge of clients’ outsourcing strategies and develop strategies to maximize opportunities for clinical trials supplies services, including prioritization and decision-maker identification.
  • Meet and exceed sales goals for assigned accounts and territory.
  • Follow company policies and SOPs, and recommend improvements where appropriate.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities.
  • Perform other sales-related duties as assigned.

Education :

  • BSc / BA or equivalent in business or sciences.
  • Advanced degrees such as PhD or MBA with related clinical supplies or sales experience may qualify.

Experience :

  • 4 years of related clinical project experience plus 4 years of sales experience, preferably including clinical protocol development and / or CRO sales.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :

  • Teamwork and influence across functions and sites.
  • Sales, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Problem-solving with analytical skills.
  • Ability to meet timelines.
  • Self-motivated and goal-focused.
  • Up to 50% overnight travel may be required.
