A leading educational publishing company is seeking a detail-oriented English-to-Spanish translator to support the creation of high-quality educational resources for Spanish-speaking students. The role requires native fluency in both languages and experience in translating K-12 academic content. You will work independently, translating materials and collaborating with a team to ensure quality and consistency.
Location: Mexico, Remote Work / Home Based (Must permanently live & have the right to work in Mexico without restrictions)
Hourly Pay Rate: $6 USD
Hours Per Week: 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 7.00 am - 12:00 pm CDMX core hours, remaining hours to be worked flexibly Monday-Sunday)
Contract: 12-month contract with an extension highly likely. Self-employed contractor. Responsible for own taxes. No benefits.

The Role
Twinkl is seeking a detail-oriented and fluent English-to-Spanish translator to join our team and support the creation of high-quality educational resources for Spanish-speaking students and educators in the United States. The ideal candidate will have experience translating K-12 academic content and a strong understanding of educational terminology, cultural nuance, and age-appropriate language.
You will be part of an agile team communicating via email, messaging, and video meetings. To fulfill this role, you will need to provide your own technology and have reliable high-speed internet access.
You will need to complete 37.5 hours every week and translate a designated quota of resources every week. You will be expected to participate in weekly meetings during standard business hours.
