DevSecOps Engineer (Security Automation, AWS, Cortex XDR, Kubernetes)

THE WORK

• Build and automate security tools, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines to support secure software delivery.
• Design and implement automations to enhance security visibility, insights, and operational efficiency.
• Lead container and Kubernetes security initiatives, including Docker, ECS, and serverless architecture support.
• Collaborate with Security, SRE, and Engineering teams to identify gaps, develop middleware, and evaluate tools/vendors.
• Embed security policies and standards across engineering workflows to support governance.
• Drive incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement for cloud and container environments.
• Utilize Cortex XDR and other detection platforms to improve threat visibility and response.

NEEDED EXPERTISE

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, InfoSec, or Software Engineering, with hands-on automation and tooling skills.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (Python preferred), and strong infrastructure-as-code skills (Terraform a plus).
• Deep experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS in production environments.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and secure software development practices.
• Experience with Cortex XDR or similar extended detection and response platforms.
• Familiarity with SOAR/SIEM systems and container/cloud security architecture.
• Must hold a valid US Travel Visa and be open to occasional travel.
