Job Description

Software Engineer Consultant II implements applications following 12-factor principles to build out the product and iterative enhancements. They partner on the full stack of software products, developing and implementing frontends (web or mobile) and backend services. They leverage test-driven development and continuous integration to ensure agility and quality of products. They actively participate in the team’s decision-making process to ensure that the simplest appropriate technology and design are chosen to meet user needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Practice daily paired programming and test-driven development in writing software and building products.
2. Establish continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines and practices.
3. Participate in retrospectives to gather feedback and derive actionable items to improve the team and the product.
4. Collaborate within the team in designing systems and applications.
5. Provide support for software products in user environments.
6. Participate in knowledge sharing and contribute to the overall growth of the team’s collective knowledge.
7. Participate in iteration planning meetings to ensure a common understanding of each story and chore in the backlog.
8. Engage in daily site, cross-site, and product team standups.

Education

4-year Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Experience

2 or more years of experience (Preferred)
