Your Tasks

Manage the plant within company guidelines to meet production plans regarding quantity, quality, deadlines, and cost-effectiveness. Ensure continual improvement and represent HELLA publicly. Ensure compliance with COP (conformity of production) requirements as defined by law for products manufactured at the plant on behalf of the license holder.

• Deploy employees according to their qualifications within the relevant structure.
• Instruct, support, and motivate employees to fulfill tasks.
• Handle hiring processes, team performance, evaluation, and qualification development.
• Manage employees based on targets and delegation, fostering a culture of trust, control, and development to meet departmental goals.

Your Qualifications

• Ensure fulfillment of the production plan to achieve customer satisfaction by delivering quality products on time and in the required quantities.
• Meet strategic quality targets (technical and logistic) through target agreements and audits to guarantee customer satisfaction.
• Provide resources such as human resources, technology, and systems to meet economic targets and remain competitive.
• Arrange employee training and qualification, ensure safety equipment compliance, and implement environmental management systems in accordance with legislation.
• Coordinate staffing levels, monitor human resources and welfare, and cooperate with the Works Council to achieve factory targets and a positive work environment.
• Ensure the series application of new products according to customer requirements, including testing, sourcing, and monitoring production technologies to minimize costs and secure jobs.
• Design and produce jigs, machines, and measuring equipment, and approve low-cost, technically optimal solutions within investment plans.
• Oversee repairs and maintenance of equipment, approve new production equipment, and ensure factory functionality cost-efficiently.
• Participate in strategic interdisciplinary projects to meet customer needs, improve employee satisfaction, and secure jobs.
• Comply with legal and internal standards to foster positive cooperation and operational compliance.
