Job Description
In this role, you will negotiate resolutions for accounts that are 5-59 days past due. You will provide customer service by adhering to a call plan and demonstrating NMAC/IFS Core Values. Your contributions will help build brand value and achieve long-term profitable growth.
Job functions:
Include, but are not limited to: receiving outbound and inbound calls on delinquent accounts, resolving delinquencies by negotiating payment arrangements beneficial to both NMAC/IFS and the customer. Researching customer disputes, questions, and concerns related to account status. Maintaining standard delinquency percentages and clearance ratios for individual portfolios to meet Quality Assurance standards. Utilizing all available tools creatively to investigate leads. Analyzing delinquent accounts for appropriate action and making recommendations to senior staff or supervisors.
Job Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of auto finance and collections sufficient to service accounts delinquent by 5-59 days. Ability to diagnose situations and apply appropriate collection tools while adhering to all Federal and State regulations and company policies. Strong oral and written communication, listening, and interpersonal skills. Effective conflict resolution and negotiation skills. Good organizational and problem-solving abilities. A customer-responsive approach to work activities.
Requirements:
Schedule:
Availability to work 48 hours per week. Schedules may fall within 7:00 am to 8:00 pm, Monday to Friday, and 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturdays. Department needs may assign 5- or 6-day schedules for at least 6 months.
