Formación

• 6+ years in manufacturing, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to manage purchasing processes.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate purchasing activities, analyze demand, and send RFQs.
• Negotiate prices and delivery dates while monitoring supplier performance.

6 Years of experience in a manufacturing environment, same job or similar role.

Automotive industry experience preferred.

Qualifications:

1. NPI experience
2. English 80% Reading and spoken
3. Excel knowledge (macros, pivots, etc.)
4. Time availability
5. Ability to work under pressure
6. Experience with Oracle
7. Knowledge of PO's
8. Experience with RMAs
9. Familiarity with Sox Audit

Responsibilities:

Working independently, coordinates purchasing activities and processes purchase requisitions in a timely manner. Using MRP and/or manual requisitions, analyzes demand to determine need, sends out RFQs for price and availability. Monitors supplier delivery. Negotiates price, volume, and delivery dates. Processes RMAs. Expedites and reschedules as necessary to meet production requirements. Responsible for resolving AP/AR issues through analysis and investigation. May research alternative suppliers for obsolete or long lead time parts. Senior Buyers may manage implementation of engineering changes, interpretation of procurement policies, process improvement projects, contract negotiation, and approval of PPVs.
