Java SW Engineer Manager (100% Remote from Spain)

What we look for :

We are looking for a Java Software Engineer Manager with a high level of English and good communication skills who will contribute to a project with one of our global customers, a leader in credit cards, auto loans, banking, and saving accounts.

100% remote position for people located in Spain.

• Technical Leadership : Responsible for creating clarity in all technical aspects of engineering, providing guidance & direction to their team in matters of design, architecture, implementation, validation, and monitoring.
• Execution Leadership : Plan and prioritize the backlog, allocate assignments to team members, track the execution of the project, and mitigate any observed risks to the plan.
• People Leadership : Follow the right culture attributes (growth mindset) & values (integrity, accountability, respect) for their team members to follow.
• As part of the DevOps model “you build it, you own it and you run it”, ensure stable and smooth maintenance of delivered software.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of delivered software.
• Supervise all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle and work to achieve the goals and vision articulated by Product Management.
• Innovate within your team, initiative area, and contribute within your technical domain.
• Relevant experience as Software Engineer Manager or Technical Lead.
• Deep understanding of all stages in the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Deep understanding of design patterns and principles (e.g. SOLID principles).
• Very strong Java programming skills and knowledge of building APIs.
• Experience with different testing types : Unit Testing, API Testing, Acceptance Testing, Load Testing.
• Experience with distributed architectures like SOA or MSA.
• Experience with event-driven architectures.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Relevant experience with AWS services.
• Experience with Gradle or Maven.
• Experience with Enterprise Jenkins.
• English at least C1.
