Project Engineer

You will report to: Engineering Manager in Mexico

Work model: Remote

Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical support to customers and colleagues in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Rockwell automation products and solutions.
2. Install and configure Rockwell automation equipment and systems in industrial environments, ensuring they function and meet customer specifications.
3. Resolve technical issues in automation systems, using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques to minimize downtime and maintain equipment operation.
4. Provide technical training to customers and colleagues on properly using Rockwell's automation products and solutions, and maintenance and troubleshooting best practices.
5. Collaborate with internal and external teams, including application engineers, product developers, and partners, to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Automotive, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related engineering field.
2. At least 1 year of experience in a similar position.
3. Knowledge of Rockwell Automation products.
4. Intermediate English proficiency.
5. Availability to travel approximately 80% of the time.

Preferred Skills and Technologies:

The candidate may also have experience with:

• Scope, Time, Risk, and Quality management in projects.
• Configuration of HMI, CLX, and related technologies.
• Logix programming, including Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block.
• Networking, including Ethernet communications and infrastructure.
• Application development with FTViewME/SE, Virtualization, ThinManager, AssetCentre, and Disaster Recovery solutions.
• Security, FTHistorian, FTBatch, Database, Transaction Manager, VantagePoint, and SQL Reporting Services.
