OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES / POSITION PURPOSE
In coordination with other H&V and multidisciplinary members, the HEOR manager develops and executes the HEOR deliverables and plans, aligned with the Market Access (MAx) strategy. The span of action of the HEOR manager is cross-product within the MAx organization.
HEOR deliverables and plans have to align product/program advantages with customer unmet needs in order to coordinate the tactics implementation through the multifunctional team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / MAJOR DUTIES
Describe primary responsibilities
• Developing/supervising pharmacoeconomic studies in order to ensure that Pfizer's products are included in the national formulary.
• Adapting pharmaeconomic models for the main health institutions (IMSS, ISSSTE) to the needs of their patients
• Providing in a timely manner customized value stories of Pfizer´s products to Access colleagues and Key Account Managers in order to promote that products are listed in institutional formularies.
• Presenting the results of pharmacoeconomic and outcomes research studies to clinical and non-clinical stakeholders for communicating the value story of the portfolio’s products.
• Supervising potential publications of pharmacoeconomics and outcomes research articles/abstracts developed within Pfizer Mexico.
• Synthesizing clinical and economic evidence into value messages that clinical and non-clinical stakeholders easily understand.
• Coordinating and supervising meetings with vendors for the development of projects in addition to the submissions (Delphi Panel, among others).
• Supervising and developing pharmacoeconomic and value arguments into interactive applications and other promotional tools for external facing use.
• Providing/supervising support for HEOR studies to be developed in the Latin America region through sharing the necessary information required by the head office.

Describe working relationships
• Frequent relationship with local internal areas such as: Market Access, Pricing, Finance, Marketing, Medical, Commercial, Legal, Corporate Affairs, Sales.
• Frequent relationship with regional and global internal areas such as: Global/Regional Health and Value (H&V).
• Continues relationship with external stakeholders from entities such as: state governments, private hospitals, private health providers, insurance, health KDMs, physician associations, patients associations (with the support of Corporate Affairs), administrative areas of health institutions, pharmaceutical associations, academic institutions.
PROFILE / DESIRED TECHNICAL AND BEHAVIORAL SKILLS
TECHNICAL, MANAGERIAL:
• Technical knowledge about pharmacoeconomics and/or economic modelling.
• Analysis and knowledge of inclusion processes.
• High specialty business understanding.
• Organization and prioritization skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills to manage teams with no formal report.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in health sciences/economy/business/engineering/actuary or related disciplines.
• Master’s degree in health economics/public health or related disciplines.
• 5 years of experience in areas related with information from or relation with public or private health institutions.
• Detailed oriented.
• Collaborative spirit / team player.
• High level of self-motivation and autonomy.
• Mathematical and actuarial models development.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (spanish & english)
