FUNCTIONS

Transnational company is seeking a Digitalization Champion. The task covers the wide spectrum of digitalization within the supply chain, starting with the development of future-oriented concepts through to global implementation in cross-location projects.

Tasks:

1. Develop SC-wide digitalization strategy and derive global digitalization roadmap.
2. Define concepts for cross-divisional and cross-site digitalization, networking, and visualization of process chains in production and logistics (smart factory) from the supplier to the customer.
3. Develop data models for the production and logistics of the future, e.g., horizontal and vertical data integration, taking into account, connecting, and integrating the higher-level IT and software infrastructure.
4. Identify future-relevant topics as well as international technology scouting with regard to digitalization, Industry 4.0 /IIoT along the entire supply chain.
5. Plan, coordinate, conduct and follow up on workshops and cross-site projects with independent evaluation of potentials and results to improve supply chain processes.
6. Contribute to the design of concepts for agile value networks based on digital technologies.
7. Close integration and coordination with company-wide lean activities within as well as close cooperation with the relevant departments inside and outside as well as the global production and logistics locations.
8. Networking (working groups, research institutes, associations).
9. Identify and roll out best practices and standards across the global manufacturing and logistics network.
10. Aspects of digitalization and Industry 4.0 // Anchoring IIoT as an integral part of corporate culture.

Qualifications:

1. Completed technical studies and experience in the production and logistics area.
2. Good overview of common IT applications in the production and logistics environment.
3. High technical understanding and high IT affinity as well as interest in future-oriented topics in relation to digitalization and Industry 4.0.
4. Enthusiasm for digitalization innovations and their effective & efficient use in the company.
5. Basic knowledge of business economy and administration.
6. Structured and independent way of working.
7. Solution-oriented, analytical, and process-oriented thinking skills.
8. Experience with MS-Office, project management and process modeling tools, and confident in presentation and facilitation techniques.
9. Distinct target and result orientation, quick comprehension, high sense of responsibility, very good analytical skills, and organizational talent.
10. Business fluent in German and English, willingness to travel.
