About the role of the Chef de Partie - IRD:

The Chef de Partie – In-Room Dining oversees the preparation and production of dishes specific to in-room dining, ensuring all culinary standards are met with precision and high attention to detail to provide guests with exceptional dining experiences.

What you will do:

  • Prepare, cook, and present menu items specific to in-room dining according to resort standards.
  • Support the broader operations of the Main Kitchen as required, focusing primarily on In-Room Dining service.
  • Lead and support junior kitchen staff during service to ensure smooth, efficient, and timely food preparation.
  • Ensure all dishes meet dietary, portion, and presentation standards and are prepared on time.
  • Coordinate with Room Service staff for timely delivery and guest requests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen area per food safety regulations.
  • Monitor stock levels, ensure proper storage, and assist with inventory control.
  • Contribute ideas for menu development and seasonal specials for room service.
  • Maintain equipment properly and report malfunctions.
  • Uphold resort values and maintain a guest-first attitude in all kitchen operations.

What you bring:

  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in luxury hotels or resorts.
  • Specialized experience or interest in room service or à la carte operations.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
