Inventory Planner (Temporary position - 6 months)

Requirements:

1. Academic background in Logistics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, International Trade, Business Administration, International Business, or related fields.
2. Fluent English (conversational) (B2 – C1).
3. At least 2 years of experience in inventory management, logistics processes, and warehouse control.
4. Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
5. Knowledge of data analysis, inventory management methodologies, supply chain management, and quality management systems (IATF desirable).
6. Desirable familiarity with ERP software such as SAP.

Experience in manufacturing, automotive, pharmaceuticals, or similar industries is preferred.

Activities:

1. Demand Planning: Analyzing sales forecasts, market trends, and historical data to anticipate inventory needs.
2. Inventory Level Control: Ensuring optimal stock levels to prevent shortages and overstocking.
3. Purchase Order Management: Coordinating with suppliers to issue timely and accurate purchase orders and tracking billing records.
4. Collaboration: Working with sales, purchasing, logistics, and production departments to align inventory with overall operations.
5. Inventory Turnover Analysis: Evaluating product movement and making decisions to improve efficiency.
6. Cost Optimization: Identifying opportunities to reduce storage, transportation, and obsolescence costs.
7. Monitoring and Adjustments: Tracking inventory performance and adjusting plans based on demand or supply chain issues.
8. Transportation coordination.
9. Utilizing ERP/MRP systems for inventory planning and tracking.
