Formación

Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack

We are seeking passionate Full Stack Software Engineers who are eager to marry data with emerging technologies. As a Senior Software Engineer at Capital One, you’ll have the opportunity to lead major transformation initiatives.

What You’ll Do

1. Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies.
2. Stay updated on tech trends, experiment with new technologies, participate in tech communities, and mentor other engineers.
3. Work with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that enhance user experiences and empower millions financially.
4. Utilize programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, along with open source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, container orchestration like Docker and Kubernetes, and AWS services.

Basic Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree.
2. Minimum of 2 years of professional software engineering experience (internship experience does not qualify).

Preferred Qualifications

1. At least 5 years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.
2. At least 1 year of experience with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure.
3. At least 3 years of experience working with open source frameworks.
4. At least 2 years of experience practicing Agile methodologies.
