Job Overview
Organizes, coordinates, supervises, and directs the technical and human resources of the company to ensure the delivery of the final product to the customer, from the departure of the supplier to supply in the production lines, including customs aspects and government agreements.
A Day In The Life
- Ensure that the Quality Management System complies with the requirements of ISO 9001.
- Ensure that processes generate and provide the expected outputs.
- Promote customer focus at Acme Electric.
- Manage material inventory levels according to company policies.
- Control and verify logistics activities, liaise with customs agents, brokers, and IATA cargo agents.
- Act as the Referrer of the Transport Network in Mexico, maintaining constant contact and follow-up on operations.
- Serve as the Nexus between the plant and customer service, as well as with participants in the import and export process.
- Negotiate with suppliers.
- Manage staff: assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and evaluate results.
- Propose and participate in designing solutions related to requirements.
- Develop relationship activities with internal and external clients to promote long-term loyalty.
- Delegate tasks properly within your area to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct regular meetings with Operations Management and the task team to detect and prevent issues, taking corrective actions when necessary.
- Identify team training needs to ensure adequate and ongoing training.
- Understand the relationship map to facilitate trust, communicate results, and ensure satisfaction levels.
- Know the company's business processes and best practices in the market.
- Ensure the quality of documented information in your area of responsibility.
- Ensure material requirements for production are met.
- Supervise first-time material requisitions.
- Participate in company activities (social and work-related).
- Set measurable goals for subordinates.
- Participate in staff meetings.
- Comply with ISO 9001 procedures.
- Respect and adhere to Internal Labour and Safety Regulations.
