Job Description

1. Manage global sourcing strategies for assigned categories, ensuring alignment with business objectives and global goals.
2. Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and commodity trends to identify opportunities for improvement and competitive advantage.
3. Provide actionable insights to leadership on strategic sourcing initiatives and opportunities for improvement.
4. Think Fast by evaluating and managing supplier risks and developing contingency plans to ensure the security of supply.
5. Work it Together by collaborating with functional areas like Master Scheduling, Planning, Manufacturing plants, Distribution Centers, and External suppliers to meet customer expectations.
6. Make the Hard Call by monitoring supplier performance, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
2. 2-5 years’ experience.
3. Ability to develop, lead, and manage supply chain strategy and supply base for one or more categories.
4. Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex supplier contracts.
5. Proven ability to scope and create projects to reduce costs, improve productivity, reduce supplier risks, and increase capacity.
6. Collaborative approach to communication and problem-solving.
