A leading technology and services company seeks a NodeJS Backend Developer to join their Information Technology and Global Security team. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in JavaScript and TypeScript, along with a strong background in cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines. This is a full-time remote position based in Mexico.

Formación

• Minimum 7+ years in Information Technology.
• 5+ years with JavaScript/TypeScript and extensive experience in TypeScript/JavaScript and Mean stack.
• Prior experience working in Agile teams.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications.
2. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and define technical solutions.
4. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
5. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
6. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
7. Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7+ years in Information Technology.
• Experience with cloud environments: Azure.
• 5+ years with JavaScript/TypeScript, with extensive experience in TypeScript/JavaScript and Mean stack.
• Experience architecting event-based systems or microservices is a plus.
• Proficiency with tools such as DataDog, Splunk, App Insights, New Relic, etc.
• Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Experience with unit testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with Azure Cloud Functions.
• Prior experience working in Agile teams.
• Experience with React.js is a plus.
• Experience with Ruby is a plus but not required.
