A leading company in the pharmaceutical industry seeks an IT Infrastructure Operations professional in Guadalajara. The role involves developing and implementing IT solutions, collaborating with various teams, and applying ITIL principles. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and relevant experience in IT environments.
• Develops technical expertise and provides inputs to project teams for the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of IT Infrastructure Operations solutions.
• Supports review of technical designs to ensure adherence to the AZ Architecture Roadmap, Information Services Strategy, High-Level Designs, regulatory requirements, and standards, collaborating closely with the Solutions Engineering team.
• Implements new services validated by the Solutions Engineering team, following ITIL V3 principles.
• Assists in preparing business cases, Requests for Proposals, supplier selection, and proposal evaluations.
• Supports senior employees or peers in defining infrastructure solutions aligned with target benefits and value.
• Assists in designing, developing, configuring, and documenting infrastructure components.
• Provides support for performance analysis and documents solution components.
• Gathers and reports management information on existing infrastructure solutions and services.
• Performs routine maintenance, support activities, and resource evaluations to maintain or expand service levels.
• Supports colleagues in the Operations team with technical input and escalates issues as necessary, working closely with them.
• Supports investigations of problems within existing solutions using ITIL V3.0 principles.
• Demonstrates the ability to identify and propose innovative solutions to improve service performance.
Strong English communication skills required.
Positions are open to Mexican Citizens and official residents of Mexico.
Location: Guadalajara (hybrid - working in the office 3 days a week). We promote in-person collaboration to foster innovation, while respecting individual flexibility.
