Your role.

Your work will include, but not be limited to :

  • Conduct audits and reviews including planning, assessing risks; evaluating internal control design and effectiveness; developing and controlling analysis and testing, handling substantive procedures, identifying, and assisting in the resolution of client issues, and reporting.
  • Through conducting objective diagnostic tests and analytical reviews, the auditor is responsible for the verification of a company's financial records by following Generally Accepted Auditing Principles.

The qualifications.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's degree preferred
  • Be willing to obtain the CPA / CPC within a defined period of time
  • 2-4 years of recent public accounting experience (audit firms) working with Manufacturing clients
  • 1+ years working with US businesses (client, employer, or vendor relationships)
  • Solid understanding of Mexican and US GAAP
  • Solid understanding of Mexican Tax Regulations
  • Fluent in Spanish and English - written and verbal
  • Experience working in a team environment

Travel & Hours.

  • This is an exempt position that may require some Saturday work hours and overtime during work week
  • Qualified individuals must either reside in or near Monterrey, Mexico or be willing to relocate to the area for this opportunity
  • 50% travel is required with this position
