What will you do?

  • The Drives Order Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and quality of incoming customer orders. This position acts as a liaison between customer service, engineering, and manufacturing teams to streamline order processing, reduce delays, and maintain high standards of order integrity.

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?

· Review and validate incoming orders from Customer Service for completeness and accuracy.

· Assign appropriate product codes based on order type.

· Confirm that the correct Release Type is selected per order.

· Facilitate faster customer approval cycles by identifying and removing bottlenecks with project managers and sales personnel.

· Coordinate engineering schedules to align with both internal KPIs and factory production demands.

· Support OE-led change orders and log root cause.

· Assign complexity codes and estimate engineering workload hours for each order.

· Maintain and manage a centralized repository of order parameters and historical data.

· Support workflow issues related to engineering tools and systems.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in engineering, order management, business management, or a related field.

    Experience:

    2–3 years of experience in project coordination, order management, or scheduling.

    Skills:

    · Strong understanding of scheduling efficiency and order intake quality.

    · Familiarity with Schneider Electric products and electrical enclosure integration is a plus.

    · Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    · Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal abilities.

    · Proven organizational, time management, and project financial tracking skills.

    Abilities:

    · Ability to build and maintain both technical and commercial awareness.

    · Capable of defining and executing short- and medium-term action plans.

    · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

    · Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, influence, and decision-making capabilities.

    · SAP/Salesforce experience is a plus.

    · Bilingual (English + Spanish) is a plus.
