A leading company in transportation system solutions is seeking a Driver and Crane Operator in Cancún. This role involves safely transporting staff and materials, operating cranes, and maintaining equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Candidates must have experience driving heavy machinery and relevant certifications to enhance safety and quality standards.

Formación

  • 3+ years experience driving heavy machinery required.
  • Knowledge of EHS standards essential.
  • Possession of Federal Transportation license and DC3 Certificate as Crane Operator desirable.

Responsabilidades

  • Transport equipment, staff, and materials safely and timely.
  • Lift and unload equipment following safety procedures.
  • Maintain crane and truck, reporting any mechanical issues.

Driver and Crane Operator

Purpose of the Job

To drive trucks with platforms carrying loads and operate cranes within tracks and highways.

Position in the Organization
  • Organization Structure: DIS / Installation
  • Direct reporting: PrYM
  • Key Network & Links: Installation Supervisor / Site Coordinator / PrYM / Field Operation Manager
  • Mission & Performance Measurement
Main Responsibilities
  • Lift and unload equipment maneuvers.
  • Understand and apply Weight – Volume – Distance – High lift procedures.
  • Maintain truck and crane in optimal condition by reporting mechanical failures and attending maintenance.
  • Ensure safety, quality, EHS, and Railway Safety (RSA).
  • Demonstrate good attitude and time availability.
  • Control fuel consumption and vehicle use.
  • Transport staff, equipment, and materials securely and timely, complying with EHS procedures.
  • Operate and handle cranes for lifting materials and equipment.
  • Make simple electrical or mechanical repairs.
  • Ensure transit rules are followed and deliver materials like drum cables, tools, and heavy equipment.
  • Complete checklists and documentation.
Educational Requirements

Middle School / High School diploma.

Mandatory Skills and Experience
  • Experience in transporting staff and materials safely during travels.
  • Experience working in night shifts and on-site.
  • Ability to understand lifting procedures and use of tables.
  • Experience driving heavy machinery (minimum 3 years).
  • Knowledge of EHS standards on-site.
  • Possession of Federal Transportation license driver (desirable).
  • DC3 Certificate as Crane Operator (desirable).
