MVL Group is seeking a skilled CAD Drafter for onsite work in the Diego Garcia region, developing detailed shop drawings, plans, and blueprints across civil, architectural, structural, and MEP trades using AutoCAD and Revit. This position requires relocation to Diego Garcia Islands where housing is provided and future relocations to other Pacific locations may occur.

Develop detailed various trades (Civil, arch, structural and MEP) shop drawings, plans, and blueprints using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit). Convert conceptual designs and sketches into precise technical drawings.

Update and modify existing drawings as needed, ensuring they reflect the latest project specifications.

Coordinate with construction teams to ensure drawings are accurate and feasible for implementation.

Assist in the review and approval process of drawings and plans with relevant authorities and clients.

Maintain accurate records of all drawings, plans, and revisions.

Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and company policies.

Prepare documentation and drawings for permit applications and regulatory approvals.

Conduct site visits to gather data, take measurements, and observe construction progress.

Use site information to create and update drawings, ensuring they are aligned with actual conditions.

Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of drawings before submission.

Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues in drawings and plans.

Ensure all drawings meet quality standards and project requirements.

Provide technical support and assistance to the construction team during project execution.

Liaise with architects and engineers to gather product and structural requirements and designs.

Prepare and review rough sketches and review them along with the engineering team.
