Job Description

Snowflake Production Support Analyst:

In the role of Snowflake Production Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the stability, performance, and reliability of Snowflake-based data platforms. Here's a breakdown of thejob descriptionandskills requiredbased on current industry expectations:

Locations for this position are Mexico (Monterrey, GDL, CDMX) on hybrid mode as per Infosys Mexico policy .

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
• At least 2+ years of experience in Information Technology.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Mandatory Skillsets:

• Monitoring and maintaining Snowflake data pipelines and environments.
• Troubleshooting and resolving production issues related to Snowflake queries, performance, and data loads.
• Collaborating with development and DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of data solutions.
• Performing root cause analysis for recurring issues and implementing long-term fixes.
• Automating manual tasks to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensuring data integrity and security across Snowflake environments.
• Supporting business continuity during migrations, upgrades, and peak usage periods (e.g., holidays).
• Documenting incidents, resolutions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Other Experience:

• Snowflake SQL : Strong knowledge of Snowflake-specific SQL syntax and optimization.
• ETL/ELT Tools : Experience with tools like CONTROL-M or Airflow
• Scripting : Python, Shell scripting for automation and log analysis.
• Monitoring Tools : Experience with tools like Splunk and Power BI monitoring dashboards.
• CI/CD Pipelines : Understanding of DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, etc.
