Forvia is seeking a Division Supplier Quality Manager to lead the SQ network, drive conformity in parts, and elevate the skills of the SQ team across the division. The role entails managing escalations, implementing APQP/PPAP with cross-functional teams, and shaping the division's budget to align with strategic targets.

The candidate should have a minimum engineering degree, 10 years in Automotive and 5 years in Supplier Quality, plus strong knowledge of core tools and leadership abilities to

Responsabilidades

  • Monitor through daily and weekly meetings the SQ KPIs and escalation trends.
  • Ensure supplier escalations are managed at all levels as defined in the procedure.
  • Functional management of SQAs in the division and coordination with BG SQ directors.
  • Prepare the Division SQ budget with input from BG TC&S and Purchasing VP.
  • Contribute to the improvement of the Group SQ toolbox and standards.

Your mission, roles and responsibilities

The role of a Division Supplier Quality manager is to lead the Division Supplier Quality network to help all suppliers to only produce and deliver conform parts in the programs and to the Forvia plants by permanently improving the skills of all the SQ team members and managing escalation when needed to achieve SQ improvement targets.

The main missions of the role are to:

  • Monitor through daily and weekly meetings :
    • the performance of the SQ KPIs (new components development, serial life and warranty incidents, supplier charge back and key escalations) in the division
    • the respect of the SQ toolbox and standards
    • the upskill plan progress and improvements ideas collection
  • Ensure that supplier escalations are managed at all levels as defined in the procedure
  • Functionally manage de SQAs in the division and work as a team with the SQC managers of the BG to ensure coordination with ASQs during new components APQP
  • Prepare the Division SQ budget taking into consideration Operational inputs (BG TC&S and Purchasing VP) and network input (BG SQ director) to communicate support needs to SQA and SQC teams
  • Contribute to the improvement of the Group SQ toolbox.

Qualifications

Minimum education level: Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, combination of education and experience preferred

Experience
  • 10 years of experience in Automotive and 5 years in a Supplier Quality position.
Skills and competencies
  • Good knowledge or certified (preferred) in Automotive core tools (ISO-9001, IATF-16949, VDA 2, VDA 6.3, APQP, PPAP/PPF, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC, etc.)
  • Management of special and critical characteristics (SC/CC)
  • Company’s products and technologies
  • Faurecia Management System and Quality Basics
  • Fluent in English with strong written and communication skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Autonomy and Leadership mindset
  • Capability to build and manage network
  • Best practice sharing and improvement mindset
  • Results oriented with strong written and oral communications skills
  • Understand all the group functional organization contributing to Supplier Quality from nomination to end of production.
