PayJoy is seeking a Director of Product to lead the Onboarding organization. You will define the vision and strategic roadmaps for onboarding and applications, spanning digital and in-store journeys to originate loans.

You will shape expansion into new markets and ensure alignment with executive goals. You will lead a team of four Senior Product Managers in Mexico and Brazil, drive conversion across customer journeys, manage prioritization with cross-functional partners, and travel as needed to

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Product Management, with at least 5 in senior roles.
• Strong experience in fintech and B2C product.
• Experience onboarding, customer acquisition, conversion and digital journeys.
• Previous experience as a people manager, leading senior Product Managers.
• Experience working with global, distributed teams.
• Advanced English to interact with stakeholders in the United States and other markets.
• A strategic profile with influence over senior stakeholders and accountability.
• Availability to travel at least once per quarter across time zones.

We are looking for a Director of Product to lead the Onboarding organization at PayJoy, a global fintech that provides access to credit for under-served customers in emerging markets and has served more than 18 million customers. This role will define the vision and strategy for the journey that brings customers to originate a loan, across digital and in-store channels, and will support the company's expansion into new countries.

What will you do?

• Define the multi-year vision, strategy and roadmap for Onboarding and Application.
• Lead and develop a team of four Senior Product Managers in Mexico and Brazil, providing strategic direction and autonomy.
• Improve end-to-end conversion across the customer journey, in digital and in-store channels.
• Set the strategy for each country, deciding where to build global, scalable solutions and where to localize.
• Ensure the quality, readiness and regulatory compliance of launches in every market.
• Align Product, Engineering, Go-to-Market, Country Managers and the executive team on priorities and trade-offs.
• Drive growth through strategic partnerships and acquisition channels.
• Measure performance and business results, such as funnel conversion and cost per approved customer.

What are we looking for?
