As Director of the HBM Design engineering team in Mexico, you will lead an engineering organization across multiple functions, including Design Verification, Layout, PCB design, substrate design, and signal integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and develop a cross-functional design team (verification, layout, PCB design, substrate design, and signal integrity) in Guadalajara, Mexico.
2. Drive execution excellence across all development stages while ensuring alignment with company strategy and meeting time-to-market goals.
3. Mentor engineers and promote rigorous design methodologies, thorough design reviews, and disciplined verification practices.
4. Collaborate closely with global design teams to align architecture and share best practices.
5. Manage performance, development, hiring, and retention of team members.
6. Promote Micron culture and values within the organization and site.

Qualifications:

1. 15+ years of industry experience in memory or IC design, with 5+ years in technical leadership or people management roles.
2. Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver products on schedule.
3. Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional partners in architecture, testing, process technology, and peer design teams globally.
4. Ability to lead and inspire action across organizations that do not report directly to you.
5. Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and leadership skills, acting as a key bridge between the Guadalajara team and global counterparts.
6. Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results.

Education:

1. Preferred: MS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field.
2. Must have experience or a proven track record in semiconductor/memory design and development.
