Formación

  • 6-8+ years of import/export compliance experience with international responsibilities.

Position Overview

Provide guidance on import, export, and global trade compliance matters. Partner with Global Trade leadership to ensure the expeditious flow of goods across borders to support supply chain requirements. The successful candidate will have a strong operational background with a focus on maintaining a compliant organization within a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Assist with managing a global network of service providers offering customs clearance and third-party importer/exporter of record services to ensure service capabilities meet expertise and performance expectations.
  2. Develop and maintain a compliance strategy for import, export, and trade activities within the assigned region.
  3. Manage the regional carrier network to ensure timely clearance and payment of duties and taxes.
  4. Serve as the client-facing point of contact for GTS program management, working directly with clients to identify needs, address concerns, and improve operational areas.
  5. Address and remediate programmatic issues related to partner performance as identified by GTS Operations.
  6. Advise internal clients and the executive team on regulatory changes, compliance requirements, and their impact on the client base.
  7. Conduct research on import and export regulations, including new product conformity requirements, in response to partner network concerns.
  8. Collaborate cross-functionally to address trade compliance gaps.

Skills/Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent required.
  • 6-8+ years of import/export compliance experience with international responsibilities.
  • Product compliance experience or exposure to type approval concepts is preferred.
  • Experience managing diverse teams and collaborating with international departments.
  • Effective communication skills across global teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
