Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Real Estate Project Development Manager to lead end-to-end development in Cancún, Quintana Roo. You will steer site selection, planning, design, construction and delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams to meet timelines and budgets.

The ideal candidate has 7–10+ years in real estate development, strong financial modeling and regulatory knowledge for Quintana Roo, and a proven record of delivering large-scale projects in a hybrid on-site/remote setup.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in real estate development project management.
• Track record delivering large-scale residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction, zoning, and land use in Quintana Roo.
• Excellent financial modeling, budgeting, and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with project management software and hybrid operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of real estate development projects in Cancún and Riviera Maya.
• Identify and evaluate development sites, conduct feasibility studies and market analyses.
• Oversee acquisitions, negotiations and contract management.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and consultants.
• Manage budgets, timelines and resources to ensure profitability.
• Navigate permits, zoning approvals and governmental clearances.
• Develop and implement project marketing and sales strategies with the sales team.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with investors, lenders and community reps.
• Adapt strategies for a hybrid model with on-site oversight as needed.
