Flex Ltd in Guadalajara, Mexico, is seeking a Buyer Direct to coordinate procurement of direct materials and components to support production. You will manage supplier relationships, track shipments, and maintain accurate procurement data while ensuring timely availability of parts at agreed costs.

Requirements include 5+ years in procurement, proficiency with ERP systems and Excel, Advanced English, and strong analytical and communication skills. Kinaxis is a plus.

Qualifications

• Completed degree.
• 5+ years of procurement experience.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and data management.
• Advanced English.
• Ability to analyze and interpret technical and business information.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Ability to present information clearly to stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Problem-solving skills with ability to handle multiple variables in structured environments.
• Nice to have Kinaxis.

Responsabilités

• Manage supplier relationships.
• Customer contact and supplier communications.
• Handle critical parts and order confirmations.
• Review and adjust purchase orders per production changes.
• Track shipments and expedites when required.
• Monitor inventory weekly to avoid overstock.
• Ensure timely availability of components at agreed cost.
• Maintain procurement data: costs, deliveries and inventory.
• Conduct supplier performance reviews and track procurement metrics.
